Rising Moon Studio is located in rural West Virginia in Tyler County. We like
to say we are a little bit close to nowhere. The studio sits on a 140-acre
farm that we are converting to a private nature reserve. From the windows of the studio,
we see hay fields, woods, flower gardens, abundant wildlife, and birds. It
started in the spring of 1999 as a get away place. We are now in the process of taking up full time residence.
We create contemporary folk art accessories in fiber for the home or office. The pieces are one-of-a-kind art pieces with original Celtic, floral, or geometric and folk art designs. There are also miniature quilts, either patchwork or crazy quilt for the twig doll / teddy bear twig beds and cradles.
We also create a line of hand crafted rustic and twig furniture for the home and garden. The collection includes rustic garden furniture, arbors, trellises, benches, plant stands, fairy houses and children's tables and chairs, interior home accents, twig mirrors, twig doll / teddy bear furniture, primitive shelves, and holiday ornaments and accents.
